The tip I got for my driver and 3 wood got me instant success.  Better length and virtually cured my direction problem (pushing the ball to the right.)

everyone says that David Nevogt is/has been a professional golfer but
the PGA has no record of him. where did he play and what where some of
    his best scores?
  • ppgolf
Kat, I'm sorry for the confusion. Dave is NOT a professional golfer and has never been a part of the PGA. We have never claimed Dave to be a golf pro or a former pro. We have golf pros on staff and golf pros that we work with, but Dave is not a golf pro. If you've seen any specific references to Dave being a golf pro, please let me know and I will have them corrected.

Again, I'm sorry for the confusion. Thank  you.
  • Tml Rock
You do not have to play in the PGA to be a professsional golfer. If he consistantly shoots under or even par he could be considered as a club pro. Meaning hes a pro at that course. There still very talented golfers they just never continued on to the PGA

I need more info on how to hit the ball better, all i know is the set up, and it hasn't done alot for me.
  • Daniel Goode1953
I had polio at 18 months old. My left leg is 3inches shorter than my right. I wear a long leg brace on my left leg. The brace on my left leg hinders my backswing and controling my downswing. I set up with the ball back more toward my right foot. Have a lot of trouble with long irons. Any ideas that would help with the geometry problems to being consistant?
    Danny
  • ppgolf
    Daniel,

Here's a suggestion from one of our golf pros.

"He needs to pull his right foot back.  Almost like he is aiming 50 yards right of
target.  This makes the balance point on
his left leg.  Ball position is measured
by his new center, not his feet.  This
keeps him over the ball, with little lateral movement.  Almost a stack and tilt move where the weight
stays on the lead side. "

    I hope that helps!

    Thanks.
  • Gjon
    It's really usefull
  • Roland Tresham
    A couple of ways.
First I find that teeing up higher helps a ton. Almost 3/4 of the ball above the driver sweet spot.
Setup placement. Try moving the ball a little more towards the center of you stance vs at the front.
GI've it a shot and remember you play the for the Love of the Game.
  • YTD700
The heads on my Cobra woods and irons appear to be angled toward the left.  When I line up square, I pull my shots left.  I try to "open" the clubs and aim way right so my shots end up in the middle of the fairway.  My son's Cobra clubs are angled the same and he also pulls shots left.  Is it the clubs?  How do I stop pulling shots left???
  • ppgolf
YTD700, you might want to try putting the ball slightly further back in your stance. Maybe an inch or less. Then line the club up square to the ball. That should give you the result of hitting the ball straight without having to open the clubface.

When the grips are placed on the clubs, the installer should shoot a laser beam down the club in order to make sure the logo or writing on the grip lines up perfectly to keep the clubface square. If you or your son had these clubs re-gripped at some point, that could be your issue as well.

    Hope that helps.
  • Azacash
I am a 6ft 3inch golfer, I am looking to invest in some new clubs. Previously I have used oversized clubs due to my height. Can this be a disadvantaged as I've used regular clubs and if anything have hit the ball better. I have just brought your ebook and hopefully looking forward to reducing my 24 handicap.
  • Mian Hassan Rafi
at 24 handicap, the clubs are incidental. get your basics right and then move on. No disrespect, but obey the Do and don't before getting into the finesse (a bridge term).
Would you care to tell me your swing speed. Maybe I have some useful suggestions for you.
  • gary turner
David i went away from your teachings because i felt i needed to be doing more with my lower body. my handicap and scores suffered as a result. i have now learned from a wonderful teacher from Revolution Golf called Paul Wilson how to use my lower body. i have started to put both your teachings together and have started posting better scores already.
  • Franzsei
never relized i missed this lesson all these years.i used it from the tips on two couses and ishot 79 and 84
  • Turbo_harpoon

  • Doug
purchased Dave's ebook some time ago but never gave it a fair chance uniil today
I am a 12 handicap but after working with the instruction this morning for 2 hours it
finally sunk in and I shot 1 over this afternoon. I discovered that I was holding the triangle
far to stiff making the whole swing too tight and mechanical. I have learned to relax
and really hitting quality shots    David I can't thank you enough   I know that I
am really on to something here
    Thanks
    Doug

  • ppgolf
AF Albert, what green fees are you looking for? We're not a golf course. We're a golf instruction company. I'm not sure what you're asking for. Thank you.

Just downloaded  your e-book....read a bit and now I can't find the pdf on my computor..lol
If there was an extra save step I must have missed it...oops...Rick
  • ppgolf
Rick, when you clicked the link from the download page, if you just clicked and didn't right-click then the ebook would open as a PDF in your browser. That's likely what happened. Your best bet would be to go back to the download page and right-click the link and choose "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." and save the document to your computer instead. If you need the link to the download page again, please contact us at support@golfswingguru.com and one of our customer service reps will send the link to you. Thank you.

why are the words on all of the comments below grouped together?
  • ppgolf
I'm not sure what you mean. It could be a formatting, css/stylesheet, browser issue. If your browser isn't reading the stylesheet information for this text correctly, it could space them on top of each other. Is that what you're seeing? It looks fine in the browsers that I've checked it in. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

I have edited the stylesheet information for our comments to hopefully correct the issue. If the words still seem grouped together, please let me know.

    Thank you.
